The Powder Metal Products Division of Remington Arms Company, Inc.,
manufactures both powder metal (P/M) and metal injection molded (MIM) parts.
Remington's
trademarks for these parts making processes are CompactAlloyTM for P/M and InjectAlloy®
for MIM. The material designations that are prefaced with an "R" are for P/M materials and
the materials designations that begin with "MIM" are for MIM materials. There are three (P/M)
and four (MIM) material groups within the broad categories of P/M and MIM materials.
